Community is an important part of what it means to be a member of Church of the Messiah. We are an active and diverse group of people, working together to create a warm and caring community. We offer many opportunities for fellowship, formation and outreach, and we openly invite and encourage people to join the events that foster a greater sense of fellowship.
BOOK SALE Ministry
This successful ministry coordinates the Book Sale to raise funds to support various projects in the church.
The selection of book is quite varied and changes every week. The books come from parishioners’ home libraries and include a full range of genres.

COFFEE HOUR HOSTS
Coffee Hour Hosts provide snacks and beverages after the 8 am, 10 am and 12 noon Sunday services as parishioners spend time in community. This ministry plays a significant role by creating opportunities to strengthen the connections and fellowship among members of the parish as well as, providing a welcoming environment to visitors.

FIESTA, FUN, FELLOWSHIP
The “Fiesta, Fun and Fellowship” team at Messiah is focused on bringing the Parish community together for celebrations and parties throughout the year. Whether it’s an old-fashioned Christmas party, Halloween fun, or just a Potluck get-together for no particular reason, this team is planning the events, recruiting helpers and ensuring that there is plenty of food, friendship and frivolity happening!

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS
Our office volunteers provide much needed staff support and are frequently the first contact our visitors and vendors make in the church office. Volunteers gain a different perspective on what goes on behind the scenes at Messiah and we appreciate their dedication and service. We are always seeking new office volunteers, so please let us know of your interest.
